NJEDA Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant - Phase 4

Pre-registration required before Thursday, April 29th (5:00 p.m.)

Provides grants up to $20,000 to small- and medium- sized businesses and non-profits

Micro-businesses with five or fewer FTEs and sole proprietorships up to $10,000; businesses with six to 25 FTEs up to $15,000;

businesses with 26 to 50 FTEs will receive up to$20,000.

NJEDA Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant - Phase 4 https://business.nj.gov/covid

The NJEDA is aware of the issue with the pre-registration portal and is working to resolve it. Pre-registration is NOT first come, first served and the pre-registration portal will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29. Phase 4 of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program provides grants up to $20,000 to small- and medium- sized businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Check your eligibility for Phase 4 grant funding.

Business Are Required to Pre-Register to Be Eligible for Phase 4 Grants Interested business owners need to pre-register at programs.njeda.com between Monday, April 19, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Pre-registration is not first come, first served, but businesses are encouraged to begin the process as early as possible. Make Sure Your Businesses is Properly Registered

Sessions will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. and Monday, April 19, 2021 at 5:00p.m. These sessions will cover what it means to be “properly registered” with the State, how business owners can check their registration status, and what to do if a business is not properly registered. Both sessions can be accessed through zoom. When asked to enter a password, type: GRANT

Applications

Following pre-registration, applications will become available on a rolling basis. Pre-registered applicants will need to return to programs.njeda.com to complete an application based on the following schedule:

Businesses that did not apply for, or were not approved for Phase 3 funding – 9:00 a.m. on May 3, 2021. Click here to check if your businesses was approved for a grant during phase 3

Restaurants and child care providers – 9:00 a.m. on May 5, 2021

Micro businesses (five or fewer FTEs) – 9:00 a.m. on May 10, 2021

All other small businesses – 9:00 a.m. on May 12, 2021

Applications for each category will be open for a period of one week and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, based upon the date and time the Authority receives a completed application submission.

Pre-registration and grant applications will be available in English and Spanish. The NJEDA is also offering interpretation services to support speakers of ten additional languages: Arabic, Chinese(Mandarin and Cantonese), Gujarati, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, and Tagalog.
